Flick is a highly skilled and intuitive PT. I’m 65, and I live with a chronic lung condition. It would be so easy to stay at home and struggle to breathe. However, with her carefully graded planning and paying attention to my energy levels, I now work out twice a week with Flick, and I am managing my lung condition with more confidence.
When I wake up, I often feel exhausted, but after my sessions I am more energised and happier.

I absolutely love working out with Flick!
Every session is full of fun and positive physical progress, no matter how tired or stressed I felt at the start of the session.
But PT with Flick is so much more than just about getting fitter and stronger. The menopause and mid-life challenges had really knocked my confidence in so many ways.
Over the past two years Flick has helped me overcome these mental barriers about what I can and can’t do through gently encouraging me and stretching my comfort zone.
At 54 I can now do proper push ups for the first time in my life, I’ve found out I love boxing, and my improved core and leg strength makes my Nordic Walking and hiking even more enjoyable. Every session filled with laughter, positive encouragement and safe yet stretching challenge has increased my mental resilience.
My renewed belief that “I can” has helped me so much in my wider life; it’s given me the confidence to find a job I love, to feel fit and healthy as a new, older adoptive mum, and has significantly reduced my anxiety.

Before I started my sessions with Flick I had never attempted any fitness training or even been jogging before!
On our first session we went out running together and I fell in love with it. Thanks to Flicks sessions I now have the ability to go faster and further.
The circuit training Flick does is always so much fun and varied. I have also gotten into boxing which was a total surprise.
I feel I am developing so many new skills as well as losing weight and toning up. I look forward to my sessions each week - they allow my brain to switch off from any stress and feel so much better about myself.
Flick is a wonderful PT, she challenges me and makes me feel proud of my achievements.

I’m so glad to have found these great Get Fit with Flick strength training sessions.
I’ve noticed my back feels a lot stronger and can lift and carry things more easily. I feel as if I have more energy.
Today I went swimming for the first time in over a year and I did 30 lengths no problem and I’m neither a proficient nor strong swimmer by any means.
As well as that the classes are fun and it’s so lovely to do them outside. A real boost for our mental health. How lucky are we to have you as our teacher. Jane xx

Due to some medical issues, I haven’t exercised for a very, very long time. Add to that, a lack of motivation, managing fatigue from menopause and a love of fast food and staying in bed for as long as possible…. I didn’t see me achieving very much in terms of fitness.
Then I met Flick and decided to give it a go. I can honestly say it’s changing me for the better! My sleep has improved, I now have some energy back and to my utter surprise, I actually look forward to our sessions!
Flick makes them super fun but still works me hard and we laugh… a lot!
I’m starting to make some healthier life choices, with Flick’s support and I know how the future is looking brighter. Thank you Flick, I wouldn’t do those crab walks for anyone but you.
